Starfactant^®
Cognis’ Industrial Coatings division has expanded its Star™ product range with the introduction of a new line in wetting agents that offer wetting combined with genuine defoaming performance. Starfactant™ additives are star-shaped hyperbranched polymers specifically developed for improved substrate wetting. Thanks to their defoaming properties, they also yield a better gloss finish with less entrained air.

Hydropalat^®
High-performance dispersants for waterborne coatings and pigment dispersions that provide the perfect balance between efficacy, efficiency and environmental compliance. The variants Hydropalat^® 875 and Hydropalat^® 110, 130 and 134 are silicone-free and are highly effective in reducing dynamic surface tension. In waterborne applications, their tendency toward foaming is negligible.
