Environmental compatibility means being close to nature. For the last 160 years plus, oils from rapeseed, soybean and palm kernels have formed the basis for our high-performance specialty chemicals. From these, we manufacture environmentally sound esters, fatty acids, fatty alcohols and ethoxylates. Numerous awards such as “Supplier of the Year in Quality” and the “Responsible Care” accolade, not to mention numerous European and American registrations (ISO 9001, 14001, 16949) confirm that sustainability is one of the main criteria underlying our activities.

In the field of emulsion polymerization, we have introduced into the market a specifically defined nonionic surfactant based on renewable raw materials. Disponil® AFX is able to replace environmentally hazardous alkyl phenol ethoxylates and their most important group –nonylphenol ethoxylates – completely. With the associated process chemicals, we are able to offer manufacturers an alternative that renders their products NPEO-free and thus compliant with EU legislation geared towards the banning of NPEOs.
