Protection deep inside: DNA concept

Ultra violet radiation can damage skin from deep within. The oxidative stress caused by this powerful form of light can engender undesirable photo-aging effects. In nature, we have found a way to prevent ultra violet light skin damage.

From the leaves of the candle tree (Senna alata), we extract K3OS (Kaempferol-3-O-Sophoroside), which contains a natural protective system against UV radiation. This extract is the basis of our active ingredient DNage™, which is designed to protect two types of DNA from the whole UV spectrum: mitochondrial DNA against long-wave UVA and nuclear DNA against short-wave UVB.

Moreover, our DNA Concept not only protects DNA in the human skin cell; it also supports the endogenous repair process of the cells. As a result, it can be used to create a wide range of formulations, including anti-aging sun care products for face and body, and skin self-protection daily, care products.
