Arlypon® TT: High performance thickening agent
Arlypon® TT is a high performance thickening agent that combines associative and micellar thickener parts to ensure optimum viscosity for surfactant systems that present a '' thickening '' challenge. Difficult systems, such as SLES reduced, sulfate-free, betaine-free, low active matter, or even blends of specific mild surfactants can easily be thickened by Arlypon® TT. Cetiol® SenSoft: The "happy" emollient
The new emollient exactly meets the demand for a sensorial and holistic product experience. It is highly compatible with commonly used raw materials, offers excellent hydrolytic stability, good UV filter solubilizing power, and has the ability to wet powder. The emollient is therefore suitable for face, body, and sun care products, decorative cosmetics or deodorants.
Cosmedia® CTH(E): Cationic rheology control additive
Cosmedia® CTH(E) is a cationic liquid dispersion polymer. It is a rheology control additive to facilitate the preparation of skin- and hair care emulsions. Due to the liquid form Cosmedia® CTH(E) allows a cold mixing and can be easily added at any stage of the manufacturing process without pH neutralization. It contributes the suspension and stabilization of other ingredients because of the excellent thickening performance. The cationic nature provides substantivity to skin and hair resulting in excellent conditioning performance and superior sensorial profile.
Cutina® PES: Power of enjoyable sensorics
This special wax builds up good viscosity and stability of o/w emulsion with different emulsifier systems (ionic/non-ionic), while at the same time creating a remarkable non-waxy and caring skin feel. This applies for emulsifier-free formulations based on emulsifying polymers as well as for those containing traditional emulsifiers of different types. Cutina® PES is suitable for a huge number of skin care applications in different skin care market segments, but can as well be applied to hair care and treatment products.
Emulgade® Sucro: The delicious touch
Sensory characteristics of personal care products are becoming more and more important. In this context Emulgade® Sucro, a new Sucrose Polystearate with a specific and optimized composition has been developed to improve the formulating and sensorial performances. It supports the retention of water in the upper skin layers as well as building lamellar structures in the emulsion. Emulsions based on Emulgade® Sucro deliver a velvety to powdery feeling as well as a light and smooth after feel without any tackiness, thus a delicious touch.
Lamesoft® Care: The delicious touch
The high performance wax dispersion Lamesoft® Care is suited for surfactant-based skin and hair care applications. Its micronized lipid system offers excellent skin and hair conditioning properties. It fits into marketing concepts where a white, fine marbleized appearance is desired. Due to its ether based lipids Lamesoft® Care can be used in a wide pH-range and therefore in all kinds of rinse off formulations.
Ultragel™ 300 - Cationic powder grade thickeners
UltragelTM 300 is a cationic polymer for rheology control in hair and skin care preparations.
This polymer has not only been accepted in crystal clear formulations but has also become a preferred thickener for creams and lotions. UltragelTM 300 comes in powder form and because it consists of spherical particles, the final products feel very pleasant on skin. The product disperses easily, does not require neutralization or heating and may be added at any time right up to the final stages of the manufaturing process. The cationic nature of UltragelTM 300 provides substantivity to hair resulting in excellent conditioning performance and improved hair combability when used in hair care formulations.
HIGH PERFORMANCE SOLUBILIZERS
Eumulgin® L provides a high solubilizing flexibility for a wide range of lipophilic ingredients such as natural extracts, UV filters, perfumes etc. It is very suitable for universal use in aqueous, water / alcoholic and surfactant media. The product is easy to handle, clear, fluid at low temperature and quickly water soluble.
Eumulgin® HPS is a very versatile and effective solubilizer for a wide range of different products like natural extracts, UV filters, perfumes, especially in water and water/ethanol systems. It also gives good results with different oils in surfactant media. Additionally Eumulgin® HPS provides excellent sensorial properties in the final formulation. The product is easy to handle, clear, fluid at low temperature and quickly water soluble.
Eumulgin® ES has an outstanding solubilizing power in surfactant media. It is highly efficient for a wide range of different products such as vegetable and synthetic oils, natural extracts and perfumes. In specific cases (e.g. AP/Deo applications) it is also recommended in water / alcoholic systems. The product is easy to handle, clear, fluid at low temperature and quickly water soluble.
HIGH QUALITY BOTANICAL EXTRACTS
Herbalia® Olive is an olive extract from the leaves standardized on oleuropein, which is used as an active ingredient for skin and hair care formulations with calming, anti-oxidant and antimicrobial properties (efficacy tests available).
Plantactiv® Gla 18 is a pure product of 98% 18 Beta Glycyrrhetinic acid obtained from licorice roots. Due to its high purity it is a preferred active ingredient for calming and soothing formulations, particularly for sensitive skin (anti-inflammatory efficacy tests support performed with in vitro human cells at Cognis available).
