Production at Cognis in Çayirova-Gebze
At the Çayirova-Gebze plant our local headquarters as well as production facilities are located. Our marketing and research-development, quality control, laboratories and all administrative functions are located at the same premises with the production facilities.
We have adapted the quality to suit environment, safety and health systems at our factory. ISO 9001: 2000 quality standard and ISO 14001: 2004 environment standard are the standards that we very tightly bound ourselves in, in daily work. Cognis Kimya A.S. is among the first chemical companies which have started to support the Responsible Care Program in Turkey.
Our SO3 plant gives us the possibility of having a production capacity of about 100 000 tons per year. All our products are geared to big industrial companies as raw materials
We have a continuous production at the SO3 plant. SAP is the integrated main information system in the company. PLC system is also being used in order to have a control of the production processes.
Total Production capacity: 90 000 tons per year.
