The plant at Pulnoy, with a surface of 10,000 square meters, includes fundamental research and applied research laboratories, the production unit and the marketing department. History in brief
1946 - Georges PAULY, chemist biologist founded a laboratory for medical analysis.
1953 - After a meeting with Helena Rubinstein Georges Pauly presented the research and
interest of biological extracts for modern cosmetology.
1960 - A unit for chemists, doctors and engineers was built-up in Nancy. The pharmaceutical
activities have been slowly given up to the advantage of cosmetology.
1990 - The activities have been reoriented mainly towards products of botanical, marin and
biotechnological origin.
2000 - The Laboratoires Sérobiologiques became a division of Cognis France.
