Exclusive National Distributor for Pharmaline™ Products
Cognis Nutrition and Health, a leading global supplier of health-enhancing ingredients, has named Univar USA as their exclusive national distributor for the Cognis Pharmaline™ excipient product line throughout the United States, including Puerto Rico. Univar Pharma Ingredients is North America’s premier distributor of excipients for the pharmaceutical and nutritional industry. Cognis Nutrition and Health is a leading manufacturer of oleochemical excipients for the pharmaceutical and nutritional industry.
Cognis Pharmaline™ excipients are oleochemical derived excipients that meet the USP/NF, EP, and JP monographs and are manufactured in compliance with the relevant Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines according to the International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council (IPEC). The Pharmaline™ excipient range of oleochemicals includes alcohols, ethoxylates, hard fats, stearic acids, mono- and triglycerides and castor oil derivatives. These high quality PharmaLine™ excipients can be used for topical, oral, parenteral and other applications as tableting aids, solubilizers and solvents, consistency factors, emulsifiers, emollients, cream bases, suppository masses, moisturizers etc. in solid, semi-solid and liquid pharmaceutical dosage forms.
