Cognis launches unique turnkey program for Omevital™ omega-3 fatty acids
The omega-3 category is booming and, for manufacturers keen to reap the benefits, Cognis have announced a unique turnkey program specifically designed to eliminate supply and manufacturing complexity, while ensuring consistent quality and speedy delivery to market.
“If time is critical and you want a bottled, labeled, ready-to-market brand, our Omevital™ turnkey program is for you”, said Petra Mueller, Global Product Line Manager for Cognis’ omega-3 portfolio. “We control the whole program, start to finish, with a streamlined system of production and handling - from sourcing the fish oils to delivering the consumer end-product ready to market.” she said.
Production, quality control, bottling and labeling all take place in-house in accordance with rigorous Pharma GMP standards, at state-of-the-art facilities in Norway. Cognis has selected the premium quality Omevital™ Ultra range for the turnkey program. With its superior sensory profile, Omevital™ Ultra can be supplied as oil or in softgel capsules. Formulations can also be flavored or blended with other ingredients from the extensive Cognis Nutrition & Health portfolio, or from an external source. Bottling options include glass, PET or aluminium, in sizes from 150 to 500 ml.
In addition to the new turnkey program, Omevital™ omega-3 fish oils can be supplied in bulk, either as oil or capsules, and can be tailor-made to fulfill customers’ individual product concepts.
