Made from vegetable oils and fats and used in a wide range of body care and cleaning products, unsaturated fatty alcohols are one of BASF's specialty products. The Düsseldorf site has been making them for around 50 years, and on December 15, BASF employees and around 50 customers from the chemical industry came together to mark the occasion. more
