Chitopharm^® / Chitosan

Chitosan, a derivative from Chitin, represents one of the few natural cationic polymer (polysaccharide). It is non-toxic and biodegradable. Chitosan is used frequently in dermatology, medical applications for wound healing, tissue engineering as well as drug delivery agent in pharmaceutical formulations.

Chitopharm^® is a Chitosan grade which meets the strict requirements of the pharmaceutical and medical industry. Three types which vary in molecular weight and viscosity are available:
Chitopharm^® L, Chitopharm^® M, Chitopharm^® S
